Carol Armijo
DIRECTOR
Ms. Carol has been at Alvarado Day School for the past thirty years. She loves making a difference in each individual child who comes to the center. She believes it is important to meet each child's needs according to their growth and developmental level, while providing a fun and safe atmosphere that's full of learning. She has decades of experience working with children and has received her National Administrative Credential (NAC), Certificate in Early Childhood Program Administration, Child Development Associates (CDA), Child Development Certificate (CDC), CPR and First Aid Certifications, as well as other child development and professionalism classes through the University of New Mexico Continuing Education and CNM. She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education and loves learning more about how she can support families and encourage young minds to grow. In her spare time, Ms. Carol loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys Hallmark movies, swimming during the summer and volunteering at local elementary schools..
