Start by scheduling a tour at the location nearest you. During the tour, you will meet the staff, see the classrooms, and discuss program availability. If there are openings, we will guide you through the enrollment paperwork. If your preferred location is full, we can refer you to the nearest ABQ Childcare center with availability.
You will need your child's birth certificate, immunization records, emergency contact information, and any relevant custody or medical documents. For NM childcare assistance or Free Pre-K, additional state forms may be required. Our staff will walk you through everything during the enrollment process.
Availability varies by location, age group, and time of year. Some programs may have immediate openings while others maintain a waitlist. Contact us or schedule a tour to check current availability at your preferred location.
New Mexico offers free Pre-K for all children ages 3 to 5 at qualified providers. ABQ Childcare is an approved Free Pre-K site at all four locations. During enrollment, our staff will help you complete the necessary paperwork for the state program. There is no income requirement.
Yes. We offer discounts for military families, police officers, firefighters, APS teachers, medical personnel, and families with multiple children enrolled. We also accept NM childcare assistance (state subsidy). Ask about eligibility during your tour.
